This 4-Hour Class This class will give the student knowledge on the various Red Dot sights available for their defensive pistol. It will discuss the growing popularity of Red Dot sight and will teach the student to zero their sight and develop proficiency in its use.

Course Overview

• Advantages of a Red Dot vs. traditional sights
• How to mount the sight
• How to zero the sight
• Maintenance and Cleaning of your Red Dot sight

Required Equipment

• Long pants with pockets
• Closed toed shoes (no flip flops or sandals)
• Crew neck (Tee-Shirt) or button up shirt (no low-cut neck lines)
• A cover garment to conceal the firearm
• Handgun with optic already mounted
• 3 magazines
• Holster and magazine pouch (shoulder rigs, ankle holsters, and off-body carry are NOT permitted in this class)
• Baseball cap (recommended)
• Knee Pads (encouraged)

• Eye and Ear Protection
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• You may bring and or rent any type of handgun that you are ultimately going to carry.  Rental handguns are NOT included in the cost of the course.
• Ammunition can be purchased at The Powder Room based on availability.
