This 4-Hour Basic Class introduces student to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a handgun safely.  The student will learn about the nomenclature (parts), operation, ammunition, gun safety, shooting fundamentals and activities based around shooting.  In addition, this course satisfies the requirements for the State of Florida's Concealed Carry Permit, Per Florida Statutes 790.06. This is not a beginner level class. Students should have some level of familiarity and proficiency with a handgun before attending.

• Long pants with pockets
• Closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals)
• Crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neck lines)
• Baseball cap (recommended)

• 50 rounds of ammunition
• You may bring and or rent any type of handgun that you are ultimately going to carry, Rental handguns are not included in the cost of the course.
